Celtic have confirmed that the club have now SOLD OUT our extended allocation for the Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen on Saturday, in the lunchtime kick-off.
Celtic supporters will dominate Hampden

This means that Celtic supporters will dominate in the National stadium once again, occupying the East stand, the traditional Celtic End at Hampden, the entire North Stand and also around half of the West Stand, which is also known in Glasgow as theRangers end.
Aberdeen meanwhile are still selling tickets on their website for their section of the South Stand and their supporters can purchase four tickets each. It also looks like they have their ‘Ultras section’ right next to where the latest batch of Celtic supporters to have purchased tickets are going to be sitting.

Aberdeen initially demanded a 50/50 ticket split
Presumably there will be a cordon and some empty rows between the rival supporters but either way it’s a slightly embarrassingly low turn-out from the Aberdeen support. Remember, the Pittodrie club made such a song and dance about receiving a 50/50 ticket allocation for the semi-final. The Scottish FA didn’t buy that one though as their priority is to have the national stadium as close to capacity as possible.

So Hampden is going to look something like the Scottish Cup final last June with Inverness fans over in the corner doing their best to compete with the Celtic support despite being vastly out-numbers.
Early starts never stop Celtic supporters travelling
Fair play to the Aberdeen supporters who will make the early morning trip to Glasgow. Incidentally just about every time Celtic play at Pittodrie it’s a lunchtime kick-off, and it’s the same for places like Dingwall too. The early start never stops the Celtic support travelling.

Just saying…
