Three games in a week for Celtic FC Women and nine SWPL1 points is the target for Elena Sadiku’s team. Things got off to a great start on Sunday afternoon in the late kick-off at Petershill Park as Celtic FC Women comprehensively defeated Partick Thistle 5-0 to give the Swedish coach the Queen of Glasgow in terms of women’s football is concerned.

Now having beaten all comers from Glasgow it’s time to take out the two Edinburgh sides in the top six starting with Hibs on Wednesday evening and then the big one – Hearts at Celtic Park in front of the Celtic support on Sunday afternoon.

Then it’s onto Celtic Park on Sunday afternoon where Elena Sadiku and the players who joined the club in the summer, will get the chance to play in front of a large Celtic support at Paradise.
Green Brigade is needed
Hopefully the Green Brigade will put aside their Green Wall in the Celtic End disappointment to pack the North Curve and make some noise for the Ghirls as they look to make history.
