Kuhn deserves some more time. Today is the perfect opportunity, but he’s got to grab that chance.

It’s fair to say that Nicolas Kuhn hasn’t exactly impressed since his £3 million move from Rapid Wien in the January window. However it’s far too early to judge the German winger as he’s only just in the door.

But he hasn’t exactly looked like a player who can improve us and propel us to the title so it’s only natural that folk will have the knives out for him so early in his Celtic career. Today I expect Nicolas will get an opportunity to put that right against Livingston with Luis Palma injured and Yang suspended.

I’m sure he will start and this is his chance to show the supporters and the manager that he can make the grade at the club. Nicolas is apparently a skilful creative player and today we will need someone like that against an ultra defensive Livingston side.

He’s got to go out and show what he is all about and try and win over the supporters. This is the perfect opportunity for him to prove he belongs at the club and give the manager some much needed food for thought. Anything less and his signing will be further called into question.
