Celtic winger, James Forrest has revealed how his call-up to the Scottish national squad for Euro 2024 has impacted his holiday plans…
James Forrest has undoubtedly been showing excellent form. over the past few months. And his form certainly his hasn’t gone unnoticed by Steve Clarke. The Scotland manager opted to include the 32-year-old in his Euro 2024 squad.
Humble as ever, Forrest admits that his main focus was simply trying to help Celtic win the League and the Scottish Cup, and that the EUROs weren’t really on his mind.
‘I had a week to sort it’
This is clearly shown as it seems that Forrest had a holiday booked while Euro 2024 takes place in Germany. Speaking to the BBC, responding to whether he got his money back for the holiday after his call-up, Forrest replied ‘I had a week to sort it, and it was a no-brainer, so I was able to sort it’.
