Highlights as Celtic beat Rangers to close in on Premiership title

Celtic moved within touching distance of winning a third successive league title after Saturday’s 2-1 win over Rangers. The game was a must-win for the Ibrox side as they travelled to Paradise but it was clear from the start that Brendan Rodgers’ side were going to come out on top.

Goals from Matt O’Riley and an OG from John Lundstram wrapped up the three points but Celtic could have scored more and were unlucky not to. The goal from Cyriel Dessers served as consolation for Philippe Clement’s side but the reality was that the scoreline flattered the visitors.

Brendan’s team just need one point from their remaining two league games to clinch the title. The Bhoys travel to Kilmarnock on Wednesday night knowing that they can secure the title. Although, Celtic can actually win the league title on Tuesday evening if Rangers fail to beat Dundee at Ibrox.
