Celtic captain Callum McGregor has reacted to his side’s 3-3 draw with Rangers at Ibrox. The Scottish Champions went into the game knowing that they had to avoid defeat to keep their title ambitions in their own hands. The 30-year-old was a second half substitute after returning from a calf injury and didn’t look fully up to speed as he admitted it was difficult to settle into a game of this magnitude.
Speaking to Sky Sports, McGregor said that the title is in Celtic’s hands as they can secure the title with six wins on the spin.
🗣️ The run-in for both teams is now super important… every game sort of becomes a cup final now.”

Brendan Rodgers’ side were 2-0 up at half time before Rangers scored twice to bring the game back. Adam Idah thought he’d won it for Celtic after 88 mins before Rabbi Matondo equalised five minutes later. Celtic will have four home games and two away games remaining before the end of the season, whilst Rangers have five away games and two home games – including that trip to Celtic Park.
