Former Celtic Head of Recruitment Lee Congerton looks set to make a move to Saudi Arabia. The Welshman was in charge of recruitment under Brendan Rodgers before following the Irishman to Leicester City in 2019. Most recently, Congerton has been Director of Football at Serie A side Atalanta but he is mostly remembered for his time at Celtic.
According to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Congerton has left Atalanta in order to move to Saudi with Al Ali as Director of Football.

On a similar note, Celtic have announced that Mark Lawwell has resigned from his role as Head of Recruitment. It will be interesting to see where Lawwell, formerly of City Football Group, ends up. Although more interestingly will be how Celtic react to the opportunity presented by his exit to modernise the recruitment department at the football club.
