Brendan Rodgers has named FOUR Japanese stars in his Celtic side to face Livingston at the Tony Macaroni in the Easter Sunday lunchtime kick-off. And all four are going to be crucial players for the Celtic manager as he looks to deliver a league and Scottish Cup double in his first season back at the club.
A win today will take Celtic back to the top of the league and will mean we can go to Ibrox knowing a win there will see us open up a four points gap. That would be a lovely position to be in next Sunday afternoon.
Hatate returns
The big news for Celtic fans travelling through to West Lothian or getting ready to watch the match on television, is the return of Reo Hatate to the starting eleven.
The Celtic team is Hart; Johnston,Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; Tomoki, O’Riley, Hatate; Kuhn, Maeda and Kyogo.
On the bench for Celtic this afternoon are Bain, Idah, Yang, Nawrocki, Bernardo, Kelly, Forrest, Ralston and Welsh.
No sign of Oh or Rocco Vata
No sign of either Oh or Rocco Vata and Callum McGregor is sitting this one out with next weekend’s trip to Ibrox in mind.
Kick-off is at 12 noon.
