“Celtic have a better starting eleven when everybody is fit,” Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson talked about the price on the ticket for Celtic players and says that the new signing must appreciate that playing for Celtic is not an easy ride and have now got to roll up their sleeves and get this title across the line.

“There are a few problems but I don’t think it is crisis time yet at Celtic Park. It is a real title race,” former Celtic defender Mark Wilson told Sky Sports this morning, as he stood outside Celtic Park to review the traumatic weekend for the Celtic support as the lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership was last and Brendan Rodgers’ side now trail theRangers by two points.

Wilson isn’t writing off Celtic’s chances and reckons that if the likes of Cameron Carter-Vickers, Alistair Johnston and most importantly Reo Hatate can get back to full fitness, then Celtic still have the strongest side and can go onto win the title.

“I think with the strongest teams out I still believe Celtic have a better starting eleven when everybody is fit and playing, but that has been the problem – getting that starting eleven all on the pitch at one time,” Mark Wilson said. “If they can do that, and the players are up to match speed, I still believe Celtic have enough to win that game (the next Glasgow Derby match) but again it is a long time to go before then.”

Wilson reckons though than much will be determined by how the two title challengers meet at Ibrox at the beginning of April.
