Celtic will receive an away allocation for the Glasgow Derby at Ibrox at the end of the year/early 2025 and also for the post split Scottish Premiership match next season. That’s after an agreement has been brokered by the SPFL. Peter Scarff is one of a few Celtic players with a tragic story. A great player from Linwood, he made his Celtic debut in 1929. Willie Maley, who laid a Celtic shirt on his coffin, described him as the perfect successor to the legendary forward Jimmy McMenemy. Kenny Dalglish is arguably the most talented footballer that Britain has ever produced and the most technically gifted player to have played for Celtic, and indeed Liverpool.
