Celtic loanee Shim Mheuka has offered another glimpse of his potential with a well-taken goal for England Under-20s against France.

The Chelsea striker, currently spending the season on loan at Parkhead, was handed a start for the Three Lions in their U20 Elite League clash and needed just nine minutes to make his mark.
Goalkeeper Ollie Whatmuff launched a measured pass towards Mheuka, who had found space away from the French defence.
The 18-year-old, which you can see via this link on X, controlled the ball on his chest before turning and accelerating away from the covering defenders. After reaching the edge of the penalty area, Mheuka kept his composure to side-foot a clinical finish into the bottom-left corner.
Former Rangers loanee Mikey Moore later added England’s second goal.
Mheuka’s strike comes after limited opportunities since joining Celtic on loan from Chelsea towards the end of the summer transfer window.
The youngster has made five substitute appearances for Martin O’Neill’s side so far, totalling just 40 minutes of action. He thought he had opened his Celtic account against St Mirren last month, only for the effort to be disallowed for offside.
