    Tierney, Hogh and Osmand absent from Celtic training before Aberdeen

    Celtic could be without Kieran Tierney, Kasper Hogh and Callum Osmand for Wednesday night’s Scottish Premiership clash with Aberdeen.

    Celtic could be without Kieran Tierney, Kasper Hogh and Callum Osmand for Wednesday night’s Scottish Premiership clash with Aberdeen.

    The trio were all absent from training at Lennoxtown on Tuesday as Martin O’Neill’s side prepared to welcome the Dons to Celtic Park.

    According to Sky Sports, Tierney, Hogh and Osmand did not take part in the session, raising doubts over their availability for the midweek fixture.

    Hogh was missing from the matchday squad for Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Falkirk.

    Osmand did feature from the bench against the Bairns, but there was concern afterwards when the young striker was spotted leaving Celtic Park on crutches with his left foot in a protective boot.

      Added 3 more players to AJ and Jota unavailable, is starting to resemble last season, with the amount of players missing?

      Hence complicates the end of this window even moreso now?
      Wouldn’t be overly concerned regarding the visit of the sheep on Wednesday?
      Still got plenty available to take care of them imo?

      The issue remains, regarding the length of time players might be unavailable, especially with having to name a 25man europa league squad by Wednesday night?
      Certainly an inconvenience that MoN could have done without, especially if it might effect squad selection with 2 Glasgow Derby matches in mind?

      Hopefully we aren’t looking at to much time for all 5 being unavailable?
      But potentially looking doubtful for Osmand to be included within our 25man European squad imo?

      Was always a question as to whether space was going to be left for AJ or Jota within it, or even both?
      Looking unlikely also, and who knows where AJ is mentality, that his move to Everton has collapsed due to a unforseen and unfortunate injury?

      We could certainly do without both Hogh and Tierney finding themselves in a similar situation, with a europa league campaign in mind?
      In Tierney case, still don’t think Tierney is going to manage the 3 games in a week programme, that’s upon ourselves now imo?
      Which complicates MoN decision making even moreso also, especially without a recognised backup LB option really available, as still wouldn’t regard scales as that option.
      No problem with scales being regarded as a 3rd choice option in the position, not unless MoN might be considering the 3CB option, with Wednesday in mind imo?
