Camilo Duran is set to earn his first senior Colombia call-up after making an impressive start to life at Celtic.
The 24-year-old striker has been named on Colombia’s preliminary squad list ahead of their upcoming triple-header of international friendlies.
Duran has quickly made his mark since arriving at Celtic this summer, scoring five goals in his opening six appearances for Martin O’Neill’s side.
His latest contribution came at the weekend when he struck twice against Falkirk, continuing an encouraging start to his career at the Hoops.
That form now looks set to be rewarded on the international stage, with Duran in contention to represent his country at senior level for the first time during the upcoming break.
A first Colombia appearance would cap an excellent opening few weeks at Celtic for the striker, who has already established himself as an important part of O’Neill’s attacking options.
