UEFA have officially announced the schedule for Celtic’s Champions League play-off showdown with LASK.

The Scottish champions will begin the two-legged tie at Celtic Park after being drawn as the home side during Monday’s draw.
The opening encounter is set to take place on Wednesday, August 19, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm.
Martin O’Neill’s side will then travel to Austria for the decisive return fixture at the Oberosterreich Arena on Tuesday, August 25.
That match will get underway at 9pm local time, which is 8pm in the UK.

The confirmation was shared by the Celtic Supporters’ Liaison Officer, who posted: “Confirmation we’ll play the home leg on Wed, Aug 19 with 20:00 KO and the away leg on Tue, Aug 25 with 21:00 local time KO.”
Celtic must submit their squad list for the play-off round by August 13.
UEFA regulations also allow clubs to add a maximum of two new signings to their squad before the tie, provided they are registered by 11pm on August 18.
The deadline for submitting squads for the Champions League or Europa League league phase falls at 11pm on September 2.
That cut-off comes before Scotland’s summer transfer window closes at 5pm on September 3, meaning any business completed after the UEFA deadline would not be reflected in the initial European squad.
