Haissem Hassan has reportedly completed his Celtic medical as the Hoops close in on a £9million deal for the Real Oviedo winger.
The Egypt international underwent his medical in London and is now expected to travel to Glasgow to put the finishing touches on his move to the Scottish champions.
According to Sky Sports, Celtic have agreed an initial fee of around £6million with Real Oviedo, with a further £3million potentially due in add-ons.
A significant portion of those bonuses will reportedly be triggered if Martin O’Neill’s side secure their place in the Champions League league phase later this month.
Hassan is poised to sign a four-year contract at the Hoops, with Celtic holding an option to extend his stay by another season.
The Scottish champions are now working to complete the remaining formalities and register the winger in time to face LASK Linz in next week’s crucial Champions League play-off.

Looking like Hassan could be the last piece of the jigsaw, with the CL qualification games in mind imo?
Still expect a few changes to be made with additions, as don’t think we will fill all of our allotted 25 squad places for these CL qualification games either at this stage imo?
Possibly expect balikwisha to be loaned out now?
And say that MoN would like to get game time into Hassan this weekend also.
The prospect of exciting attacking options is becoming real now, especially with the quality factor involved?
Also believe that a return to the exciting free flowing attacking football is on the cards for this season also?
