Celtic face Shelbourne on Tuesday evening as Martin O’Neill’s side kick off their pre-season. The Scottish Champions are in Dublin for the first leg of their pre-season camp, kicking off their first friendly against the League of Ireland side at Tolka Park.
In preparation for the eagerly anticipated fixture, Shelbourne have added excellent embroidery to their match shirts, celebrating the match and Celtic’s Irish heritage.

Hopefully it is a positive experience for all and gets some minutes in the legs of the team ahead of the new season starting next month. Cameron Carter-Vickers is one that it will be great to see back in action, having been sidelined since the end of October last year.
Celtic fans in Ireland will be eager to see the Hoops in action, especially after the incredible climax to last season. However, they won’t be able to see any new signings turning out as Celtic have been slow to start in the window despite the sizeable rebuilding job ahead.
