Celtic bound Kasper Høgh has arrived in London ahead of his medical tomorrow. All going well the striker will be pictured in the Hoops tomorrow afternoon…

The Bodø/Glimt striker looks set to sign with the Scottish Champions pending a successful medical, after the Hoops struck a record-breaking agreement with the Norwegian club for their star man.

Celtic are in need of reinforcements as the club have been agonisingly slow in the current summer transfer window, with only Camilo Duran arriving from FC Qarabag in Azerbaijan for around £5.5 million.  Despite the Colombian netting three goals in three games so far for Martin O’Neill’s side in the pre-season, more signings need to follow.

Celtic’s Mika Baur deal has stalled

The club are said to be hot on the trail of German U21 midfielder Mika Baur, who’s club have said to have rejected offers for him, as they hold out for what they see is fair value for their prized asset. Likewise, the Scots are said to be finalising a four-year deal for Egyptian winger Haissem Hassan, following his excellent performances at the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Danish centre-forward Kasper Høgh has flown over to London as he gets set to travel to Scotland tomorrow for a medical, ahead of potentially signing for Celtic. Sky Sports News reported earlier on today that the player has indeed arrived now in London, with official footage capturing the big striker before he signs on the dotted-line at Celtic Park.

Anthony Joseph confirmed this via his X account too, saying:

“UPDATE: Bodo/Glimt striker Kasper Hogh has arrived in the UK ahead of his £11m move to Celtic. The Denmark international is in London, pictured at Biggin Hill Airport this afternoon, and is due to undergo a medical on Monday.”

Should things go over without any last minute issues, Høgh should become the spearhead for Martin O’Neill’s new-look Celtic attack.

The manager spoke at length recently about the lack of goals from the side last term and the inability to find the back of the net on a consistent basis, until the now departed Daizen Maeda’s final flourish.

Hopefully Høgh can be the new talismanic figure for Celtic and O’Neill, as we strive to maintain our grip over domestic football, whilst making inroads in European competition too.
