Kelechi Iheanacho move yet another embarrassment for the club. It will be interesting to hear his thoughts on the situation…
It was widely believed that Kelechi Iheanacho would sign up for another spell at Celtic, but that notion was quickly dismissed earlier today when the Nigerian international put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Turkish second tier side Bursaspor.
This development is nothing more than yet another embarrassment to the club, a catastrophe for Celtic CEO Michael Nicholson and a huge disappointment for Martin O’Neill who has yet again been let down by the cartel running our football club.
Where do you start? I mean only the other day Michael Nicholson was preaching about the difficulty of attracting players due to interest from the first and second tiers of English football, he even proclaimed that our market was free agents, but the news that Kelechi Iheanacho signed for Bursaspor shows that he and his chums can’t even broker a deal for an unattached player, even more bizarrely, one that was keen to join the club!
IT’S AN UTTER SHAMBLES!
That’s now just under a fortnight until the start of the new season, and once again we are in danger of starting a new campaign weaker than the previous one.
If we can’t entice a player who is keen to join us, and more importantly one who is a free agent, then what hope to we have of attracting new quality additions?
It will be interesting to hear the thoughts of the Nigerian, regarding the situation with Celtic, but I think we all know what that will be, and it won’t be complementary towards Celtic.
Iheanacho was a key catalyst in our dramatic last gasp title win, and he more than proved his ability, so by not signing him immediately in the conclusion of the season, has proven to be yet another blunder by the dithering Celtic hierarchy.
We are becoming more of a laughing stock with each passing day, and it will continue to get worse in the coming weeks with Michael Nicholson and his world class colleagues in charge and all drawing HUGE wages for being absolutely rotten at their jobs.
You wonder how much Martin O’Neill will take of all of this.

You anti-board guys must have studied real hard for your degrees in stupid!
Contrary to your belief, Celtic did NOT have 100% POWER over the player! They had the “option” which only means they had first chance to OFFER!
They did that!
If the other club offered a better deal, a deal which appealed more to the player, why wouldn’t he take it?

Is he kidding? I loved the big man, but if he genuinely asked for this, he did not want to stay! It’s what was a simple “pricing himself out” move!
He hardly had a full 90 minutes under his belt last season!

I don’t believe for one moment, that a 2nd division Turkish side, can and would pay kelchi more than ourselves?
Possibly the same will apply towards Saracchi and his final destination also imo?
Personally, I would like to think that at present, the board, along with MoN are playing games with our fan media?
Time of year, for plenty of game playing to be ongoing and even MoN is no stranger to the likes either?
Wasn’t very convincing, regarding kelchi and Saracchi, especially when he was meant to be in constant contact with Nicholson?
The whole episode surrounding both players, doesn’t add up whatsoever imo?
We will possibly never know if MoN was actually complicit, in the decision taken surrounding kelchi and Saracchi, yet it does mean a huge potential backlash is on the cards, especially now?
As dangerous as the decision taken now, will that still apply,if better replacements are actually added?
One’s who MoN prefers to have within his squad building process for this coming season?
Both places are still available to be filled?
Yet both positions have options available for the start of the season?
Even if both could be regarded as insufficient, for an entire campaign next season at present imo?
Judgement can’t be fully made, until this window actually shuts?
We haven’t conducted ourselves very well, that can’t be denied at present?
But can’t help thinking, that our fan media could be falling into a potential trap, that could make them looking like bigger eejits than the board members in the longer run imo?
So at present, the spotlight is very much upon MoN, moreso than Nicholson at present, in my eyes anyway?
If MoN really did want Saracchi and kelchi returning, and Nicholson has ended that opportunity, then why is MoN still in the managerial position?
He certainly doesn’t need to be undermined in such a manner whatsoever?
Maybe, we can be a bit to quick to come to conclusions?
Thought Saracchi would have been a great signing, but remain open to another option instead?
Wasn’t as sure as many seemed to be, regarding kelchi?
We still needed more than just a bit part player, for an entire season?
So could fully understand MoN wanting to keep his options open, especially if wanting a more reliable striker in place?
Don’t believe that we haven’t got other players in mind for the positions available within our squad?
Still a guessing game upon who they will be all the same?
So the games have certainly ramped up today, and the conclusions haven’t been resolved whatsoever?
But, we already know that if the situation is resolved satisfactory?
We won’t be giving any praise towards Nicholson, even if we have to remove the egg from our faces?
That’s the only certainty, I can take from the events of today within our club imo?
Nicholson seems to be the common factor in all our transfer failings, but let’s face it he’s an absolute clown who should be nowhere near a directors position at our club.
We need to make a huge effort to have this man removed from the Board.
