Sebastian Tounekti believes Kasper Høgh will add a clinical edge to Celtic’s attack and says he cannot wait to supply the new signing with chances in front of goal.
The winger, who previously spent two seasons at Bodo/Glimt, knows the Danish forward well and backed the club’s latest recruit to make an instant impact after his record move to Glasgow.
Speaking at Celtic Park, Tounekti said via STV: “You can expect a guy who knows how to score a goal. He will always be in the box.
“I have played against him, but I have also watched a lot of Bodo/Glimt because I played there. He is always in the box and in the right spaces. I think it is important that we bring a player with quality and we’ve done that.
“He has proved that in Bodo/Glimt for many years now, but also in the Europa and Champions League.”
Asked if he was excited by the prospect of linking up with Høgh, Tounekti added: “100 per cent. I think as a winger, it is really nice to have people in the box that if you give them some balls, they will score.
“I think the other wingers, and I will try to feed him as much as possible. We are really looking forward to the season, because I think we can achieve amazing things.”
