Former Celtic target Kasper Dolberg appears increasingly likely to move on from Ajax this summer, according to reports in the Netherlands…

The Danish forward, who was heavily linked with Celtic 12 months ago, endured a disappointing campaign in Amsterdam, managing just five goals in 27 appearances after arriving with high expectations.
Midtjylland have made no secret of their desire to bring Dolberg back to Denmark, although reports there continue to list Celtic as one of the clubs credited with an interest.
With the Scottish champions now having secured fellow Dane Kasper Høgh, however, any prospect of a renewed move for Dolberg appears far less likely.
Ajax are expected to press ahead with a £20 million deal to sign Tolu Arokadare from Wolves, a transfer that is set to accelerate Dolberg’s departure.
Dutch outlet Voetbal International reports the 27-year-old is “well on his way” to leaving the Johan Cruyff Arena, while Danish publication Tipsbladet claims Midtjylland are preparing to step up their pursuit.
Any agreement is expected to hinge on Midtjylland first completing the reported £20 million sale of striker Franculino Dju before they can finalise a move for Dolberg.
Dolberg is said to be available for around £6-7 million this summer, significantly lower than the valuation attached to him during last year’s transfer window.
