Responding to a Celtic fan on Twitter, Rae gave a positive review of the Germany U21 starlet.

Celtic are reportedly continuing club to club negotiations with Paderborn for their player of the year but the midfielder is eager for the move to go through.

Baur recorded 36 appearances, four goals and six assists in the Bundesliga 2 last season, helping his side to promotion. Despite links to moves elsewhere in Germany, it appears that Celtic are in pole position to sign the player.

It certainly looks like Celtic are, better late than never, getting their act together in the transfer market with the talk being of FOUR incoming signings with perhaps two departures, including Daizen Maeda upcoming.

No-one can deny Daizen his chance to play in the Premier League before he returns to Japan. and we can all support Ipswich’s campaign to stay in the top division in England next season.
