You know the saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me?
Celtic Board’s extreme financial prudence and hoarding of cash
Well that is what we as Celtic supporters are currently experiencing with our tightfisted and incompetent board, and if history repeats itself, then those in charge at Celtic Football Club will have to face the music from a support that has already had enough of their extreme financial prudence and hoarding of cash that’s by and large put into the club by the fans.

One summer signing is nowhere near good enough
We’ve so far failed to add to the addition of Camilo Duran, although talks are ongoing with German side Paderborn over the transfer of midfielder Mika Baur, and a move has been made to snap up Bodo/Glimt striker Kasper Hogh.

Nicholson’s excessive haggling now in danger of derailing Baur deal
Worryingly though, it appears that a snag has hit the Baur deal, with claims from Germany that Celtic and Paderborn are at loggerheads over the fee, with a mere £300,000 the sum the Celtic representatives are haggling over as they can’t resist a lowball attempt to shave something off the asking price at the eleventh hour.
Celtic’s Talisman Daizen Maeda set to leave today
At the time of writing this, Daizen Maeda is all but concluded his move to Ipswich Town, and Arne Engels will most likely be following him out the door anytime soon, probably before the opening game of the season against Dundee next Monday evening. I’d also expect Reo Hatate to be away too before flag-day.
These sales will net us a substantial figure, yet here we are haggling over a few hundred grand for a highly regarded German midfielder.
Hogh talks supposedly progressing well – for now anyway
Talks are said to be ongoing with Kasper Hogh, but naturally supporters are concerned, and have little faith a deal will be reached, due to our track record, with last year’s Kasper Dolberg debacle still fresh in the mind.
As pointed out earlier on Celtic Shorts, Kyogo has played for Rennes, Birmingham City and secured a move to LA Galaxy before Celtic got around to unveiling his replacement to the mainstream media at Celtic Park yesterday afternoon. No wonder they wanted to keep the Celtic fan media away.

Where is the urgency to conclude Hassan deal?
The pursuit of Haissem Hassan has also gone ominously quiet, despite it being widely reported that the club were ready to do business with the Egyptian World Cup stars club Real Oviedo.
Our club have got to be up there with the worst transfer negotiators in the entire footballing world when it comes to them spending money.
Our representatives are either in a lackadaisical state, or they haggle over the lowest of fees which naturally frustrates the selling club, the player and the agents involved. Then comes Lowball Nicholson out and complains about how they are all so hard to deal with!

The manager’s owner of Celtic remark
We as supporters, and paying customers expect to have at least three new faces in the door come the start of the domestic campaign a week on Monday. If not, then there will be no hiding place for the incompetent yet highly paid executives who are supposed to our club as executives not place-men for a single shareholder who contrary to Martin O’Neill is the OWNER OF CELTIC.
Both Hearts and Hibs lost in their opening European qualifiers this week. Imagine Celtic doing that too and missing out on a place in the Champions League yet again.
Celtic heading towards same old story in Champions League this summer
The main reason that this happens is the failure of the club in the transfer market summer after summer. We are never prepared for the Champions League play-off matches and as result our overall record is appalling.

Tomorrow Celtic Park will be quiet as supporters register their own individual protests by staying away, as happened last weekend against Middlesbrough. There has been no formal call to boycott from any supporters group and that therefore makes these protests all the more significant.
Celtic should heed the warning that each every stay-away Celtic supporter is sending out…

Camilo Duran yesterday hoped that god would help us reach the Champions League group stages. There’s probably more chances of that happening than the help Martin O’Neill will need coming from our club’s custodians actually being delivered.
Just an Ordinary Bhoy

Desmond has the season ticket holder’s where he wants them , scared stiff of losing their ticket’s. Until a stance is taken by fan’s he will always have the upper hand. Think of what you want for celticf.c , a great Celtic or mediocre Celtic and the latter is where we are heading with those board men in charge. All YES men and Desmond knows it.
Supports got no balls at all
We used to when we got rid of the old board ,but nowadays none ,feck all,you just have to read the various comments on every Celtic fan media site ,the amount of comments from people who scream about this useless board and the shitshow of a transfer market , then when a boycott of ticketed matches /champions league /cup tickets
friendlies , they go straight to excuse mode ,,,,,,,,,,the state were in is down to the support ,yeah we were winning but we were ignoring the downsizing , the penny pinching and dumping £11m into HMRC every year instead of investing in a team to move us forward
Last year was the final warning ,it’s being ignored again and yet everyone’s sitting on there hands looking for excuses cause ,,,,their faithful through and through ,,,,,,feck sake there’s a worn out line
