Kelechi Iheanacho is continuing to assess his next move, with clubs from Saudi Arabia and Qatar reportedly among those hoping to secure his signature.
Earlier this week, Martin O’Neill confirmed that negotiations have been held with the Nigerian striker and stressed his desire to bring the situation to a conclusion as soon as possible.
Iheanacho proved to be a crucial figure during the latter part of last season, delivering a string of influential displays as Celtic completed a Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup double.
While the forward has expressed his wish to remain at the Hoops, reports suggest he has not yet reached a final decision over his future.
According to Scott Burns of the Daily Record, Iheanacho has “a number of lucrative offers on the table”.
As well as interest from the Middle East, clubs in Turkey and Major League Soccer are also believed to be monitoring the situation, with Bursaspor’s pursuit of Iheanacho having been widely reported.

The future of both kelchi and Saracchi will come down to, who is going to offer them the most money within a contract imo?
Nothing new, especially for players at there age, looking for that last big contract available to themselves?
Nothing new either, for players using our club, in order to gain better riches for themselves, elsewhere also?
As we will never know of the personal terms of players, with NDA involved, along with the actual wage budget involved for our first team?
Then only a guessing game exists, upon how we actually are functioning in this crucial area of proceedings and negotiations imo?
The alternative is going for the younger players, where there wage demands are not going to be as high?
But a very hit and miss approach, would still be in place, especially with the demands that our club brings, and without the best track record of developing the younger players, but still good enough to bring profits in the player trading model?
So just how much money, should we be offering both kelchi and Saracchi, who wouldn’t be regarded as automatic starting players?
But still far more useful than this squad filler term, we like to use?
Personally believe that at this stage now, alternatives will have to be considered, as this waiting game can’t continue for much longer either imo?
We must already know what the personal terms they are both looking for?
If we aren’t prepared to pay the sum involved, and the gap is to wide, then possibly time to move onto the alternatives?
Would give plenty of ammunition for the anti board brigade, but they are also completely in the dark, regarding players personal terms, within our wage budget involving contracts also, especially over the period of time the contract can run for?
We know plenty of spending money is available upon players?
Just how much room is available within our wage budget for offering contracts, should maybe be the best approach in looking for answers imo?
