Celtic are reportedly lining up a firm offer for Croatian goalkeeper Dinko Horkas…

Horkas could be Celtic’s first summer signing
The UD Las Palmas player has arisen as a Celtic target in the past few days, alongside Hertha Berlin’s Tjark Ernst, who rejected advances from Bundesliga outfit VfL Wolfsburg and has Feyenoord on his trail too.

The Hoops will need to sort out the goalkeeping department this window as well as multiple other ongoing issues all over the squad.
Successive failures in recent transfer windows by Michael NicholsonÂ
Successive failures in recent times, in respect to recruitment, has seen us fall from grace both in Europe and now domestically. At this stage, it is only reserved for the churlish to think that last season’s Double means we are on course and doing fine, as serious problems remain at the heart of the club.
We are already into pre-season and not a blow has been struck to help an ageing Martin O’Neill revitalise a squad that has seen better days and is a relic to the Brendan Rodgers and Ange Postecoglou teams of the past several years.
Zero lessons have been learned
Despite the warning signs, it still appears that zero lessons have been learned in terms of getting players in early to help support the manager through Champions League qualifiers.

Meantime, Spanish journalist, Angel Garcia Alvarez, has claimed that the Bhoys are supposedly firming up their interest in potential target Dinko Horkas.
Olympiacos also keen on signing Horkas
It is said that the club have opened preliminary talks with the Segunda Division outfit, with interest from Greek Super League giants Olympiacos strong, as they are pushing hard to sign the 27-year-old shot-stopper too.
Alvarez posted the update on his Instagram page, stating:
“Celtic FC has initiated preliminary talks with UD Las Palmas regarding the transfer of goalkeeper Dinko HorkaÅ¡.
“The Scottish club is prepared to pay the necessary fee to bring the Croatian into their squad, aware that Olympiacos FC is also pushing hard to sign him.
“The player has made 59 appearances for the Canary Islands side—16 of them in the top flight—during his two years representing the “Yellows.”
