Daizen Maeda is attracting significant Premier League interest, with reports in Japan claiming four English clubs are in the race to sign the Celtic forward this summer.
The Japan international is expected to turn his attention to his club future after his country’s World Cup campaign came to an end following a Round of 32 2-1 defeat to Brazil.
Since arriving at Celtic four-and-a-half years ago, Maeda has established himself as one of the Hoops’ modern-day icons.
The 28-year-old has made 212 appearances, scored 80 goals and helped the Scottish champions win 10 domestic trophies during a hugely successful spell in Glasgow.
Maeda has previously spoken of his ambition to play in the Premier League, and a move to England could now be on the cards.

According to reports from Japanese outlet Puribets, via The Chosun, Brentford, Nottingham Forest, Fulham and Everton are all showing strong interest in the Celtic star.
The report adds that Brentford are currently viewed as the favourites to secure his signature.
Brentford’s interest is longstanding, with the Bees having been linked with Maeda in each of the last three transfer windows.
His exceptional pace, relentless pressing and tireless work rate – added with his goals and assists – are all qualities that align with the club’s data-driven recruitment strategy.
