Former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has secured a surprise return to management after being confirmed as the new Head Coach of Al Nassr. The Saudi Pro League side, who famously have Cristiano Ronaldo as their skipper, will look to draw upon Ange’s vast experience and success across the World ahead of the new season.
In an update that came from left field, Ange was confirmed on a two year deal that will see him move across to Saudi for a sizeable payday.
Ange is no stranger to making bold moves – working domestically in Australia, Japan, Scotland and England. His spell at Celtic was an incredible success, winning five out of six domestic trophies before being poached by Spurs.
There had been some speculation that Postecoglou could be the next Scotland manager but that was always extremely unlikely for two reasons. Ange has currency in the game and would have had a bounty of offers for his services as well as the financial realities involved.
