Former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou is one of the bookies’ favourites to succeed Steve Clarke as Scotland manager. The Australian won five trophies during a successful two years in Glasgow’s East End before departing for Spurs.
Currently out of work, Ange has been working for ITV during the FIFA World Cup but his name has emerged as a favourite for the Scotland job, even if it appears wholly unlikely. Given Ange’s experience with the Australian National Team as well as his links to Glasgow, supporters are hoping that the SFA at least ask the question of the former Europa League winner.
Reacting to the news, Talksport’s Simon Jordan weighed in on the speculation suggesting that it is unlikely to happen.

Ange’s stock was high after leading Spurs to the Europa League and despite a brief, unhappy spell at Nottingham Forest, he could be in contention for jobs in England and elsewhere in Europe.
You would have to estimate the chances of Ange taking over as Scotland manager as being very slim.
