The latest effort is a stunning retro-feel Adidas jersey with green diamonds at the top of the shirt and the Celtic badge on the chest.

As revealed by Footy Headlines, the German kit manufacturers will produce the retro shirt as part of a stadium collection
“The Celtic 1994 retro stadium shirt features a white base with a striking green diamond pattern across the upper chest and shoulders, fading down into the clean white body in a design that is instantly recognizable as a nod to the iconic 1994 Adidas template.
“Gold Adidas three stripes sit on the chest, while a special “Centenario” anniversary crest in gold replaces the standard Celtic badge. The same crest is seen across Celtic’s whole 26-27 collection.
“The Celtic 1994 retro stadium jersey is part of Adidas’ 26-27 stadium collection range, which also includes a t-shirt and tracksuit.”
Celtic’s communication problem
It should be caveated that a number of Celtic supporters will not be impressed by the release of merch for 2026/27 given the ongoing issues at the club.
Communication, planning and transfers have been an issue recently and it had been hoped that extensive planning would have been completed for the new season while the interim team worked away towards a Double.
Supporters want to avoid avoid sleepwalking into mediocrity
The Not Another Penny appeared to calm at the end of the season with success on the pitch but fans are hungry for change at the club to avoid sleepwalking into mediocrity with the ambition of one individual apparently overriding the hopes of all others.
However, in the hope that there is to be resolution with Celtic unified under Martin O’Neill in a season that honours the Lisbon Lions, hopefully there will be real change and unity once more.
