Celtic target Oskar Wojcik has warned prospective employers that wherever he goes, he will want to play football regularly…

The Polish U21 star is being heavily courted across Europe and could be on the move this summer transfer window.
Wojcik previously revealed his burning desire to one day play in the English Premier League, which we reported on Celtic Shorts.
However, before the young and aspiring central defender can do that, he knows he will require and intermediary step in the process, between playing in domestic football with KS Cracovia and fighting against the best forwards in the world.
Celtic one of a number of clubs keeping a close eye on the centre-back
Rumours have it that Celtic are just one of a number of clubs keeping a close eye on the centre-back ahead of what promises to be a hectic summer schedule across all areas of the football club. Without a manager or proper football structure in place this pre-season, Celtic won’t be able to do a thing and that takes precedence over everything else at present.
The club and principal shareholder Dermot Desmond have already held discussions with managerial target Robbie Keane, and are set to sit down with his compatriot and ex-gaffer at international level, Martin O’Neill. There are even murmurings in the ether that both men could be working together at Celtic Park this year, although that is merely conjecture and hearsay at this point.
Meanwhile, according to Wojcik, he will only be leaving Cracovia this close season if he gets the promise of regular minutes moving ahead.

‘I’ve always imagined playing in one of the five best leagues in Europe’
As reported by Daily Record, the 22-year-old said: “Simply put, if an offer comes along with an interesting plan, a vision for development, we’ll consider it. It’s not like I hear a name, the first club that comes along, and I already want to leave Poland.
“All of this needs to be thoroughly analysed. The most important thing is that I don’t want to join a club just to be there. I want to play and become a better player.
“My heart definitely tells me to stay at Cracovia, because it’s my club, which has great and supportive fans. I never imagined I could get so much from the fans.
“On the other hand… there are dreams. I’ve always imagined playing in one of the five best leagues in Europe,” he added.
Celtic’s ‘stepping stone’ pitchÂ
Does that rule Celtic out or can we sell the stepping stone route to the player in any transfer talks that are ongoing or about to commence?

Don’t really get this so called interest in another CB at present?
CCV and Murray in the right sided CB role, with trusty and scales on the left?
Now things might change, if a new manager wants to adapt to a 3 at the back?
Even at that, it could bring both AJ and Tierney into the equation also?
Of course there’s a chance that maybe 1 of our current CB options, is thinking of leaving?
And even with 5CB within the forming of a 25man European squad, would be reduced to 3 for an SPFL match day squad?
So hardly guaranteed playing time on offer with ourselves, especially if we stick with the back 4 option still, and expecting that to still be in operation again next season imo?
Hardly a position that can be regarded as a great urgency at present, when far bigger decisions exist, within our squad building process imo?
