The 22-year-old has been linked to a move to the Scottish Champions as Arne Engels continues to be linked with a £25m summer exit.
The towering central midfielder has made 80 appearances for Torino, earning plaudits for his performances in the middle of the park. Now, Sun Sport are reporting that Celtic have been tracking Gineitis with an eye on a summer move.
Celtic will face competition from Bundesliga sides but the progression that Celtic can offer, using players like Matt O’Riley and Engels as examples of the platform that Celtic gives young players.
Italian sides as well as Premier League clubs have been keen on signing Belgian midfielder Engels from Celtic, with a fee of £25m suggested.

Celtic will no doubt want to maximise the value in Arne Engels and Daizen Maeda but they need to ensure that they have able replacements lined up to improve the quality of the team. Maeda and Engels would represent significant losses to the team and investment would be required to ensure the team continues to develop.
