Let’s be clear, the Union Bears will still gain entry to Celtic Park on Sunday despite the SPFL backing Celtic’s stance to ban them from the final Glasgow Derby of the season on Sunday. If you believe otherwise then you are being very naive in my humble opinion…
The much talked about ticket ‘fiasco’ regarding the Rangers who initially denied their own supporters the chance of attending a title showdown at Celtic park, has finally been resolved after our league’s governing body the SPFL correctly told them what’s what, rendering them with no other option than to accept Celtic’s fair and reasonable terms on the matter.
The Ibrox club in turn had to backtrack on their unwavering support for their unruly ultras, allowing other supporters the chance to snap up briefs, on the condition that none are allocated to the collective group of Spider-Man mask wearing Union Bears.

That’s where it gets complicated, as we can only ask, what’s to stop them getting their hands on tickets and just simply turning up? It’s all far too easy for them to attend the game totally undetected. And as they all wear black clothing they were reportedly outside Tynecastle yesterday urging their fellow Rangers supporters going to the game on Sunday to wear all black themselves.

This they believe will allow the Rangers Ultras to hide in clear sight and any attempts to prevent them entering Celtic Park will be futile.
And I reckon that fellow Ibrox supporters will be only too willing to sell on their tickets to their ultras in a bid to get one up on Celtic. Plus after their defeat at Tynecastle effectively ended their season, some will be only too glad to pass on their tickets at face value to this supporters who like to hid their own faces.

The Union Bears mugshots aren’t exactly on wanted posters, and as daft as they are, they aren’t exactly going to rock up to the stadium complete with their Spider-Man costumes, and base drums.
They will be present mark my words, complete with their vile songbook and threats of intimidation, and there’s nothing anyone at Celtic or Police Scotland can do about it. If you think otherwise, then you are free to say why in the comments below.
That news that their own club has had to u-turn on them, has broken them even further, contrary to what was written on their crayon worded statement last week.
The best way to shut them up and sent them home is for Celtic to put on a show and win comfortably. We need to be mindful of the goal difference deficit that we have on Hearts, just as much as the three point gap. With the Rangers seven points off the lead now they can essentially forget it and most of their own fans have already accepted that this is going to be yet another season without a trophy triumph.
Just an Ordinary Bhoy

If the Celtic thought they had made a point with the ticket allocation not going to a certain section of the Rangers support, not going to happen. These idiots will still be inside Celtic Park come this Sunday, that’s a given. And god help the Police/Stewards and possibly Celtic players or backroom staff who might be on the park if anything were to happen given how this game plays out. Moneeeee the Bhoys…. ⚽☘️☘️☘️
It’s been quite clear the onion bears will be there on Sunday, just as the GB, or some of them, have been since our own board banned them. But what will be put to bed is all this nonsense that it is only a, small minority of their support, who indulge in belting out their bile! And they most definitely will. So when the usual bigoted song book is presented the SFA, TRFC and the SMSM will not have the ‘small minority’ of fans to blame, because they’ve not been allocated tickets! Have they? Well, not if TRFC have kept their side of the SFA’s ruling! What will be the repercussions of that I wonder. For that matter what will the CFC Board do about being made to look a fool by a bunch of neds.
Either way, we need to drown these mutants out on Sunday. Turn Paradise into a cauldron of noise for 90+ minutes right from the off!
C’mon The Hoops! 🍀🍀🍀
I understand the article is on the onion bears but we can do without their inflammatory tifos and frankly their ugly mugs plastered over the page ..imo
Yeah, good point Allan.
Is the Celtic View available only by subscription now?I was also looking to get the Harry Hood book is it still available. Thanks Tony.
Hi Tony – you can order the Harry Hood book via celticstarbooks.com – it’s currently priced at £10 plus P&P.
Celtic View is quarterly I believe and I know that they sell it in the Celtic shops and sometimes you see programme sellers outside the stadium selling it too.
