Police Scotland yesterday revealed that they have received no reports of ‘assaults’ on Hearts players at Celtic Park at the end of the recent Scottish Premiership title decider…

It was revealed yesterday that Police Scotland have yet to receive a complaint from Heart of Midlothian football club, regarding alleged allegations of assault by Celtic supporters in the recent title clash at Celtic Park.
That’s quite the turnaround from a club who were as vocal as their supporters when it came to dishing out the allegations in the wake of their agonising last day title loss. Some folk always needs a deflection from their own failures, so Hearts decided to run the narrative that their players where ‘assaulted’ by Celtic supporters.
The overwhelming majority of the media where also running with the claims, although now that’s it been dropped to ‘alleged’ assaults tells you all you need to know. You can include in that category the likes of Pat Nevin, Tom English and the former Celtic goalkeeper Pat Bonner who all claimed that they had witnessed assaults on Hearts players during the three-minute long pitch invasion after Callum Osmand gave Celtic a 3-1 lead with the last kick of the ball.
Lots of allegations about the Celtic support were quickly spouted with no solid evidence from a host of pundits on television and radio.
There needs to be accountability for the spread of false information and Celtic need to come out in defence of the supporters. https://t.co/aVKxLDuOAA

It hasn’t come as a surprise to us who aren’t mourning the loss of a title, as was clear in the post match footage, with not one Hearts player looking like they where physically assaulted in any shape or form. If anything it was the men in maroon who looked like they where dishing out the brutality.
The fact that not one complaint has been lodged to the authorities suggests what we all know, and that would be that the whole thing was completely exaggerated and fabricated in a bid to demean Celtic’s dramatic title win.
Their own supporters are now starting to cotton on to Hearts being economical with the truth when it suits them, with the recent revelation of Lawrence Shankland contract details being laid bare.

We all look forward to a deserved apology from several folk who were quick to label our supporters as yobs. Although we all know that isn’t going to happen, but at least the words of Police Scotland prove without doubt that Heart of Midlothian Football Club’s claims were false and possibly malicious.
Pat Nevin, Tom English and Pat Bonner (all BBC) should not be allowed inside Celtic Park until they apologise to the Celtic support. Yet it’s the Celtic fan media that Celtic have banned.Who was it that stood up for Celtic and the Celtic support from the moment this all happened? Yes, the banned Celtic fan media.
@PatNevin it’s time for you to either apologise for your blatant lies, or it’s time for @BBCSportScot to relieve you of your duties. pic.twitter.com/eUSkB8hs6x

It should also be acknowledged that Martin O’Neill was magnificent in defending the Celtic support after our club took the time to review all the footage and came to their own conclusion that there were no assaults on Hearts players during those three minutes.
The two Celtic supporters who were assaulted by Hearts players – one had his mobile phone damaged – may well have contacted Police Scotland or are considering doing so. We don’t know.
What we do now know is that the Hearts claims were fabricated. Tony Bloom repeated the assault claim on talkSport – not in the head of the moment but a few days after Celtic won the league with that brilliant 3-1 victory. His credibility has been tarnished as a result.
The Scottish FA shot down Hearts’s misinformation by revealing that Hearts had seen the VAR footage of the closing moments of the game at Celtic Park BEFORE the Tynecastle club fuelled the flames with a second misleading statement. What a mess Hearts have made of this. They lost the league and now have lost their credibility. Even their own support has little reason to believe a word that they say these days.
Celtic, Champions again!
Has anyone checked if this is alright with Rangers and Hearts fans? pic.twitter.com/RAJRsC83xf

Our media is so against Celtic its out of control Celtic board has to barring certain hacks from press meetings yes our supporters were wrong going on the pitch spoiled a great day for 5 minutes for most but it wasnt a riot like Ibrox who are teflon as far as oir media concerned
How do you complain about something that never actually happened?
That is what we have been subjected to as a club?
Never had much time for the minis, and detest them now, with there true Hun traits allowed to come to the fore yet again.
Of course we are going to be held responsible for any pitch invasions?
And still expect actions to be taken if they continue into the future. Which is fair enough, as they shouldn’t be a recurring theme for ourselves either imo?
But that’s nothing compared to making such vindictive and disgusting claims, that are nothing but blatant lies?
Will further actions be taken for such vile allegations?
Highly unlikely, so then why should we bother to stop celebrating in the manner that we do then?
We celebrate in the manner that we do, because of all the shite, we have to put up with in Scottish Scottish football.
As it remains a free for all upon our club, then little chance of ourselves reducing the levels of our celebrations within our winning success either imo?
Until there becomes a clampdown upon our haters, then little chance of changes actually happening imo?
We can accept changes within our involvement, but will we, if all the perpetrators of such lies, are continued to be allowed to get away Scott free?
Banning all of them from Celtic park would be a huge step in the right direction from ourselves, against our haters imo?
And only bans getting lifted with public apologies.
