Martin O’Neill has named his Celtic starting XI to take on Hibs at Easter Road in the Scottish Premiership this lunchtime…
Celtic go into the match three points behind leaders Hearts and one point ahead of the Rangers after their 3-2 defeat to Motherwell at Ibrox last weekend. Hearts play the Rangers at Tynecastle tomorrow afternoon, so one or both will drop points and Celtic can pile on the pressure to both today with a win over David Gray’s Hibs side.
Martin O’Neill makes two changes from the Celtic side that started against Falkirk last weekend. Alistair Johnston returns to the starting XI for the first time this year as Anthony Ralston drops to the bench.
And Sebastian Tounekti also returns to the starting XI, with veteran winger James Forrest also being listed as a Celtic substitute.
The Celtic team is Sinisalo; Johnston, Trusty, Scales, Tierney; McGregor (c), Engels, Nygren, Yang, Maeda and Tounekti.
On the bench for Celtic this afternoon are Dooha, McCowan, Iheanacho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Saracchi, Hatate, Murray, Forrest and Ralston.
