Martin O’Neill has named his Celtic team for this afternoon’s Scottish Premiership clash with Rangers. The final Glasgow Derby instalment of the season is a must win for the Hoops as they look to capitalise on Hearts faltering away to Motherwell.
Celtic must win their games to win the league and the latest game sees Rangers arrive in Glasgow’s East End.
Vil Sinisalo starts in goals.
In defence, Auston Trusty starts with Liam Scales. Alistair Johnston and Kieran Tierney start in the fullback berths.
In midfield, Callum McGregor starts. The skipper is joined by Arne Engels and Benji Nygren.
In attack, Daizen Maeda starts through the middle with Yang out wide and what looks like Luke McCowan. The ex-Dundee skipper started his career as a winger and MON has utilised him there before.
MON has strong bench to call upon with increased options from the last time that the sides met. There’s no room for Callum Osmand and Cameron Carter-Vickers, who are working back from long term injuries.
Substitutes: Doohan, Iheanacho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tounekti, Saracchi, Hatate, Murray, Forrest & Ralston.
Come on Celtic!
