Celtic supporters will be able to watch Wednesday night’s crucial Scottish Premiership encounter with Motherwell after the Lanarkshire club confirmed a pay-per-view option for the fixture.

The match has taken on added significance in the title race following Celtic’s 3-1 victory over the Ibrox club at the weekend and Hearts dropping points in their 1-1 draw against Motherwell at Fir Park.

There had been concerns among fans that the game would not receive full live coverage, with Sky Sports prioritising Hearts’ final home fixture of the season against Falkirk amid the possibility of celebrations at Tynecastle.

However, Motherwell have now announced on X that viewers across Britain can access the match through a £15 one-off streaming purchase.

Supporters located outside Britain and Ireland will still be able to follow the action through Celtic TV’s usual live broadcast service.

Meanwhile, the SFA has confirmed the officiating team for the match. John Beaton will referee the game, alongside assistants David McGeachie and Jonathan Bell.

Andrew Dallas has been assigned VAR responsibilities, with Sean Carr acting as assistant VAR from Clydesdale House.

Celtic and Motherwell have already met three times this season with the Hoops winning twice at Celtic Park. The Fir Park side comfortable defeated the Scottish champions 2-0 in North Lanarkshire in what was Wilfried Nancy’s penultimate game in charge of Celtic.

A victory on Wednesday night means that all Celtic have to do on Saturday at Celtic Park against Hearts is win to secure a fifth consecutive league title.
