Liam Gallagher has fuelled speculation that Oasis could stage a future performance at Celtic Park.
Recent reports have claimed the Manchester legends are considering another tour in 2027 after their hugely successful reunion shows last year drew worldwide attention.
The Gallagher brothers’ long-standing connection to Celtic is no secret, with Liam and Noel both proudly embracing the club through their family’s Irish roots and ties to Glasgow’s Irish Catholic community.

Liam appeared to add further intrigue online when supporters questioned him about the possibility of performing in the east end of Glasgow.

During Oasis’ Live ’25 run, the group returned to Scotland for the first time in 16 years with three sold-out nights at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
The band’s Celtic connections were visible during those concerts, with Noel’s daughter Anais Gallagher and Liam’s son Gene Gallagher both seen sporting Celtic colours.
‘You gotta Rohl with it…’
At Celtic’s 3-1 victory over the Ibrox club on Sunday, supporters inside Celtic Park heard Roll With It played over the stadium speakers after full-time.
Celtic Park has not hosted a major headline concert since Wet Wet Wet performed there in 1997. That show was delayed by a day following the death of Princess Diana.
Paul McCartney had also been lined up to perform at the stadium in 2003 before plans were ultimately shelved. Since then, Hampden Park has become Scotland’s main venue for large-scale concerts, including Liam Gallagher’s solo appearances.
The latest rumours emerged after a source told the Sunday Mail via Daily Record that discussions surrounding a possible Oasis appearance at Celtic Park had already taken place.
The insider said: ‘Nothing has been agreed yet and discussions are still at an early phase, but Liam and Noel are eager to get back on the road in 2027. A return to Scotland would make perfect sense if arrangements can be made.
‘There has also been conversation around recording new material, and after the enormous worldwide success of the 2025 tour, there is naturally interest in continuing.
‘Murrayfield remains an option and Hampden Park is another possibility, but because both brothers are devoted Celtic supporters, the chance to play Celtic Park would be particularly special to them.
‘Their mother Peggy was born in Ireland and has always been a passionate Celtic fan, so a concert at Parkhead would mean a great deal to the family if it could happen.
‘Everything remains at an early stage, although there is awareness that stadium availability towards the end of May could potentially work.’”
