Kelechi Iheanacho earned praise for his dedication after returning to training just 48 hours after Celtic sealed the Scottish Premiership title with victory over Hearts.

The Nigeria international featured from the bench during Saturday’s 3-1 win over the Jambos at Celtic Park, as the Hoops recovered from an early setback thanks to late strikes from Daizen Maeda and Callum Osmand to secure a fifth consecutive Scottish Premiership.
While a number of Celtic players celebrated the achievement in Glasgow over the weekend, attention is already turning to this Saturday’s showdown at Hampden Park.
Martin O’Neill’s side now have the chance to complete a domestic double when they face Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish Cup final this weekend.
Iheanacho appeared fully focused on that objective after being spotted back on the training pitch on Monday working individually with a personal coach.

Performance coach Kwaku Mhemeng posted footage online of the 29-year-old striker taking part in shooting exercises alongside the caption: “Champions on Saturday, back in work Monday. Elite mentality.”
The former Leicester City forward has been decisive from the bench during the final stretch of Celtic’s successful league campaign.
However, concerns over his overall fitness levels have so far prevented him from earning a starting role, despite growing calls from supporters for him to be included from the start.
After playing the best part of 55 minutes on Saturday against Hearts, he could be in line to start Saturday’s Scottish Cup final, especially given the return of Callum Osmand.
