The SFA has revealed the officiating team for Celtic’s Scottish Premiership clash against Motherwell on Wednesday.
Celtic head into Wednesday night’s encounter knowing victory would keep their title hopes firmly alive and potentially set up a decisive final-day meeting with Hearts at Celtic Park.
John Beaton has been appointed as referee for the fixture in North Lanarkshire. He will be joined by assistant referees David McGeachie and Jonathan Bell, while Andrew Dallas will oversee VAR operations alongside Sean Carr from Clydesdale House.

Beaton has officiated six Celtic matches during the current campaign, including wins over Aberdeen, Kilmarnock and Falkirk. He was also the referee for the side’s 2-0 defeat to Dundee United and the Hoops’ draw away to theRangers at Ibrox.
Beaton most recently took charge of Celtic during their 3-1 win against Motherwell earlier this year.
The two clubs have already met three times this season, with Celtic winning twice. However, Motherwell claimed victory in the latest meeting between the sides at Fir Park back in the wild Wilfried Nancy days in December.
Celtic are three wins away from a league and cup double. Result dependent at Tynecastle on Wednesday evening, a Celtic win at Fir Park means that the Hoops will just need three points on Saturday at Celtic Park against the Jambos to secure a fifth consecutive league title.

We already know what the agenda for cheating Beaton will be on Wednesday, assisted by that other cheating eejit on VAR.
Was asked years ago as to why we celebrate every trophy victory so wildly, when we win so many on such a regular basis within Scottish football?
The answer is very simple, when you consider the amount of blatant cheating we have to overcome, to win every trophy, especially within an SPFL campaign imo?
It’s the main reason, that has always been in existence within Scottish football for ourselves to overcome, hence why we have to be so much better than all of the rest.
Biggest joke within Scottish football remains, the dopey Hun mentality that we are somehow the beneficiaries of such blatant cheating on show?
The scale of matters, has possibly been at it’s highest this season, especially with such is the damaging effects, the blatant cheating that incompetent officials are having upon the overall Scottish game, taking away the very small amount of creditability the Scottish game had within it imo?
Even so, our club shows that the cheating won’t be allowed to prosper, and we have to continue to show the likes, especially in our last 3 remaining matches of this season?
Mentally very draining upon our players and supporters alike, but it has never, and never will be allowed to break our spirit, no matter how hard they try imo?
