The Scottish Football Association has confirmed the officials who will oversee this weekend’s Scottish Cup final at Hampden Park between Celtic and Dunfermline Athletic…
Celtic will meet Dunfermline on Saturday, 23 May, with Martin O’Neill’s Scottish Campions aiming to round off the 2025/26 campaign with more silverware against Neil Lennon’s Pars side.
Steven McLean has been appointed as referee for the final, while Frank Connor and Scott Anderson will serve as assistant referees.
Video Assistant Referee duties will be handled from Clydesdale House by Matthew MacDermid, with Gary Hilland acting as assistant VAR.
Steven McLean has already taken charge of several Celtic fixtures during the current season, including encounters with Hearts, the Ibrox club and Dundee. He also officiated Dunfermline’s clash with Hibernian earlier in the year.
Celtic booked their place in the final after victories over Auchinleck Talbot, Dundee, the latest Ibrox club and St Mirren. Dunfermline Athletic, meanwhile, progressed past Queen of the South, Hibernian, Kelty Hearts, Aberdeen and Falkirk on their route to the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden.
The final is scheduled to kick off at 3pm on Saturday and will be broadcast live on BBC One Scotland as well as Premier Sports. Celtic TV will also stream the match to subscribers based outside of Britain and Ireland.
