Celtic clearly needs new blood, signing Kasper Hogh, Jakob Breum and Fares Ghedjemis would certainly be an ideal start…

With the 2025/26 campaign now successfully concluded, we can look forward to next season, and that of course means new additions to the squad coming in, with several required for whoever the next Celtic manager may be.
Club or manager making the decisions?
In an ideal world the manager would be the one signing the players, but that’s not the way we operate these days, and many football clubs now tend to operate in this manner, so we are not alone. There could also be private conversations going on in the background so that potential candidates will be up to speed on potential signings ahead of being formally announced as Celtic’s next manager.
And if it’s going to be Martin O’Neill then of course he will be well aware of anything that’s happening in terms of players coming in and also those leaving the club this summer.
Imperative that Celtic strengthen
It’s imperative that Celtic strengthen, as we are the weakest we’ve been in a long time, in regard to the quality and depth of our squad, certainly in terms of numbers we could have more than a dozen exits to basic arithmetic points to a busy summer of recruitment.
An area that is in dire need of upgrading is the attacking one, and with that in mind our first target should be strengthen that position, with not just one, but a host of new faces.
Three names who have been heavily linked with the club in the past, those being Kasper Høgh, Jakob Breum, and Fares Ghedjemis.
Players who are playing at a decent level of football, and ones who more importantly are contributing massively when it comes to goal contributions.
All three players have their own unique strengths
All three players have their own unique strengths, with Hogh a big physical presence being well versed in scoring goals, whilst Breum is a gifted playmaker with a knack of finding the net.
When it comes to Ghedjemis, he brings something to the table we badly need. A wide player with pace and skill, and one who also knows the way to goal. Dare I say he’s similar to Nicolas Kuhn?
Purchases can be funded by player sales in summer exodus
All players also fit into the club’s transfer strategy, and they wouldn’t cost a combined £15 million at a minimum, a sum we can well afford, especially taking into consideration the fees we will recoup for the likes of Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate, and Luis Palma when they ultimately move on.
We need to hit the ground running in regard to our recruitment process. Signing players such as Hogh, Breum, and Ghedjemis would be an ideal place to start a busy summer at Celtic.
Celtic must secure Champions League group stage qualification
This time we must be ready for that Champions League qualifier which is worth around £40m to the club, money that could easily have ended up at Ibrox or Tynecastle because of Celtic’s errors across the season including of course two woeful transfer windows. Let’s hope that lessons have been learned and that the club will bring in players that will genuinely improve the team and get bums off seats at Celtic Park.
The three I mention certainly would do just that.
Just an Ordinary Bhoy

Not even sorted out manager like last season supporters have to hear all this crap from hacks and nothing officail from Celtic its alright them saying theres nothing to tell the fans but you have to keep them updated every week even though yheres nothing but you beed to tell them thing are moving the right road and the people we want know we want them and are negouating a hope there beyond the stage of inteviewing people
If our pathetic, weak minded and treacherous Board manage to sign any one of those guys (never mind all three) in the first days of the transfer window, then I’ll be as surprised as anybody. It will never happen with these idiots and the Overseas Dictator in charge.
Sack them all. Every single one.
