Celtic are reportedly preparing to revive their pursuit of Go Ahead Eagles attacker Jakob Breum after failing to land the Danish winger during the previous two transfer windows.
The Hoops had multiple offers rejected for the 22-year-old last summer, with the Eredivisie side believed to have demanded around £6.5million before refusing to sanction a move.
According to The Herald, Celtic have now renewed their interest in Breum ahead of the summer market, with Go Ahead Eagles increasingly accepting that the player could depart before the start of next season.
The Scottish champions are also said to have made initial enquiries over goalkeeper Jari De Busser. The Belgian shot-stopper is entering the final year of his current contract and is thought to be available for around £1.25million.
Goalkeeping reinforcements remain on Celtic’s radar after recent links with Wolfsberger keeper Nikolas Polster, while the club are also believed to still admire Bodo/Glimt forward Kasper Hogh.
The Danish striker attracted widespread attention after helping the Norwegian side enjoy a memorable Champions League campaign that included surprise victories against Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan on their route to the knockout rounds.
Interest from across Europe is expected to drive his valuation towards £10million.
As well as targeting new additions, Celtic are expected to reshape parts of their current squad this summer, with several players facing uncertain futures.
One player determined to remain at the club, however, is Paulo Bernardo.

The Portuguese midfielder struggled for regular involvement after Martin O’Neill returned to the dugout, with his final appearance of the season coming as a substitute during Celtic’s dramatic Scottish Cup quarter-final win over Rangers.
Despite speculation surrounding a possible departure, Bernardo insists he intends to return stronger for the new campaign.
Writing on Instagram, he said: “What a way to end the 25/26 season. Scottish Premiership champions and Scottish Cup winners.
“Grateful to everyone who continued to support me throughout the year. Now it’s time to rest, reset and enjoy some quality time with family and friends before coming back stronger for next season.”

After 3 shocking transfer windows do we think something will change ?
Doubt it we’ll repeat the same scenario as years gone bye , throw out big name signings and get the cheap version ,,,maybe
Bernardo needs to step up he’s had long enough to prove himself
There’s going to be plenty of speculation over the next number of weeks, before this transfer window officially opens?
As to who is making the decisions upon potentially targeting players, without a permanent manager in position? Can only conclude that so called enquires, are hardly substantial at this stage, so hardly worth reading into anything about them imo?
However, at least 1 striker is required. With the disappointing news surrounding Jota, then another 2 wide options, will possibly be required also imo?
The midfield areas, is going to be very interesting to see how they are going to be reshaped? Hope we can get a better functioning midfield in operation, than we had last season?
Was expecting a big season from Paulo, but it just never happened whatsoever?
As to why, I haven’t got a clue, especially as I still believe that he has the quality factor within his game, but not producing it?
Thinking both him and Hatate have fallen into the surplus to requirements for ourselves imo?
If MoN couldn’t seem to motivate themselves, then struggling to see if any new manager, will have better luck in that regards imo?
Personally believe, that if other opportunities arise for themselves over the summer, then both will jump at the chance of leaving imo?
The way we’ve played under MON has Engles supporting Calmac, and still getting forward when required. Bernardo has been deployed in a similar role before, and he hasn’t proven himself. If Engels is sold then Paulo ain’t the answer.
As to the transfers, if we see a striker we like, a good one with a proven record, then we need to act now. Decisively. But I’m not holding my breath.
Sack the Board. Every single one of them. Success this year was a miracle, indebted to MON and co. and won in spite of the Board’s collective actions, not because of it.
