Celtic-linked Scott McKenna has returned to full fitness after overcoming the injury setback that sparked concern ahead of this summer’s World Cup.
The former Aberdeen defender had been absent from Dinamo Zagreb’s recent fixtures after suffering a thigh problem, but he is now available again for selection.
McKenna – who has been heavily linked with a lucrative summer switch to Celtic – is widely expected to feature in Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad for the tournament.
Dinamo boss Mario Kovacevic confirmed the centre-back is ready to play in the Croatian Cup Final against Rijeka.
He said via Glasgow Times: “Scott McKenna is in the squad. He is back fully fit again and his return is a big help for us.”
The 29-year-old is also on course to earn his 50th Scotland cap when the national side take on Curacao at Hampden in their final home warm-up match before the World Cup.
In other news, John Beaton has been appointed referee for tonight’s game at Fir Park between Motherwell and Celtic.
Andrew Dallas will oversee VAR operations at Clydesdale House and will be assisted by Sean Carr who has AVAR responsibilities.
It is do or die for Martin O’Neill’s side in North Lanarkshire. For the first time this season, Hearts can officially win the title if they win at Tynecastle and Celtic lose to Jens Berthel Askou’s men.
On the other hand, should Hearts drop points and Celtic win this evening, it means the Jambos come to Celtic Park on the final day of the season on Saturday knowing they will have to win.
