The Celtic Fans Collective has issued a statement regarding the club’s decision to inform 170 season ticket holders that they will lose their seats and be relocated despite their being no prior consultation with the supporters affected by this decision taken by Celtic…
The move comes as Celtic look to move the Bhoys Celtic group into the North Curve’s rail seating section of the group to allow them to join forces with the Green Brigade. This is something that the Green Brigade called for in a statement they released shortly after their six months ban from Celtic Park came to an end.
The Collective are urging better communication with these supporters on this particular issue and more generally with the wider support on an ongoing basis and believe that this is yet another example of the club failing to communicate with supporters.
The fan media ban continues. It was imposed for no other reason that to shut down questions that they didn’t want to answer and many of the questions that Brendan Rodgers did answer in the first three months of the season came from fan media who wanted to know what was happening regarding transfer activity and in particular what happened in the summer window.

That’s just one of many similar matters of concern and an occasional Brian Wilson interview with Gerry McCulloch is no replacement for genuine fan engagement, especially as it’s hard to believe anything that the interim chairman has to say these days.
On this relocation of season ticket holders without prior consent, the Celtic Fans Collective Steering Committee discussed the matter over recent days and has taken the decision to publicly address the issue, while once again calling on the Club to improve its supporter engagement strategy.

The Collective’s understanding is that the Club intends to contact affected supporters shortly to clarify the latest position. Their hope and expectation is that this leads to a satisfactory outcome for all involved.
However, if any supporters remain affected by the proposed relocations and require support or representation from the Collective, they should not hesitate to get in touch.
The Collective’s finalised statement is shown below.

Last week, Celtic Football Club took a decision which will significantly impact supporters, in this case the relocation of fans within the Rail Seating section, without prior consultation or clear communication.
Around 170 season ticket holders received an unsigned email on Friday afternoon informing them that, while they would be able to renew their season tickets, they would not be able to remain in their current seats. The communication provided little clarity around relocation arrangements, including whether supporters attending together would remain together.
Throughout the season, the Club has repeatedly demonstrated that its communications are lacking and its supporter engagement model is fundamentally broken.
While we understand further clarification from the Club will follow soon, that does not excuse the manner in which this was communicated in the first place. Any attempt to improve the atmosphere or matchday experience should be welcomed, but it must also be carried out with respect for all supporters and proper engagement with those affected.
Just days after further public comments from chairman Brian Wilson regarding communication, engagement and togetherness between the Club and supporters, this situation once again highlights the disconnect between those statements and the reality experienced by supporters.
The Club must now commit, as a matter of urgency, to a transparent and democratic supporter engagement model capable of properly representing supporter concerns, resolving fan issues and holding the Board accountable.

Whats it to do with the Collective? Who do they think they are? Some kind of mass supporters group spokesman?
They are a nonentity who are out to stir 💩 whenever they can.
Hence they are no longer invited to discussion with the club. They represent around 1% of the 60000 that the stadium holds which does not give them the right to expect anything.
