Derek McInnes showing yet again what a sore loser he really is…
The Hearts manager had been trying to play mind games all week as he knew how tough it would be to win the league title at Celtic Park. Hearts had pinned their hopes on Motherwell doing them a favour on Wednesday night and their wish almost came true.

Playing the victim and trying to gain more sympathy was McInnes’ game all along, as he tried to go full Alex Ferguson in a bid to land the Jambos a first league title in 66 years.
He was clearly taken aback after Daizen Maeda’s late strike, and appeared visibly shaken when Callum Osmand ended the contest with seconds of additional time remaining.
McInnes headed straight up the tunnel
The former Rangers player headed straight up the tunnel, managing just a brief handshake with his opposite number Martin O’Neill, and was absent from his media duties as he instructed his staff and players to leave the building asap, and it was a case of literally walking straight out of Celtic Park and onto the team bus.
Their exit was that rushed that the players still had their kits on!! Talk about being sore losers!
Unfortunately for poor old Derek, it just didn’t work out, and despite being minutes from a superb achievement he was once more left licking his wounds against a club and a support that he dislikes intensely.

Excuses have been made that he and the players feared for their safety blah, blah, blah but that doesn’t wash with any of us who have any common sense, as they were safe enough inside the confines of the away dressing room, not that they had anything to worry about on the field, despite their exaggerated claims to the contrary in the mainstream media (that’s Celtic’s pals in the MSM).
Celtic supporters should NOT have invaded the pitch
Of course the Celtic supporters should NOT have invaded the pitch in the heat of the moment when the title was finally secured deep into stoppage time in the final game of the season but there is no evidence of any violence towards anyone from Hearts. Only Shankland hitting out at a celebrating Celtic supporter who got too close to the Hearts captain.
For Derek McInnes and his players, in particular skipper Lawrence Shankland, they couldn’t handle seeing their dream being denied by a club they both like to hate the most. Listening to thousands of Celtic supporters celebrating, would have been a step too far so they ran away from the scene of Celtic’s jubilation.
The league table never lies – Celtic are worthy Champions
The league table, both Derek and Lawrence should note, never lies. Celtic finished the season two points clear and are worthy Champions.
In football there’s always a winner and a loser, so you simply just have to take your medicine when it comes your way. Hearts fans of a certain vintage have seen it all before back in 1986. Twice they have seen their team come within a few minutes of winning the league before Celtic hit the front and lifted the trophy.
Such bad losers
To simply leave the building is the behaviour of a bad loser, and that’s what McInnes is and always has been, especially when the side that got the better of him happens to be the famous Glasgow Celtic.
Enjoy your summer Derek. You too Lawrence and remember that we are the Champions my friends.

I find it incredible that’s Hearts and there toerag of a manager complained about there treatment so called received from Celtic Supporters,when they spent 98 minutes feigning injury.at least 8 of there players went down with nothing wrong with them and a goalkeeper who constantly held the ball over the 8 seconds allowed,and referee who aided and abetted them by allowing him to do it.Hearts suffered because of there own tactics if they had played the game normally they might have left Celtic Park as champions instead left as Champions
Thats exactly right Charlie,still trying to work out Hearts tactics,drop the Scottish player of the year and top goalscorer,then have a competition to see who could kick the ball the furthest and highest,.Looks like Kabore won the first hearts player to fall down competition, knew then we were in for a long day,never seen a player feigning cramp after 20 mins,that was their contribution to winning a league,the Hearts physios were on the park longer than our fans.

Despite the Celtic boards attempt to sabotage our season with a severe lack of investment in the summer and January when we were in 3rd place in the league table Well done to the team on delivering the league title and hopefully the Scottish cup Hail Hail

Regarding the fans on the park was stupid but the reports of hearts players being assaulted i don’t think is true saw shankland assulating a fan more like sour grapes and what was that all about hearts leaving stright away after the match finished again sour grapes not very sporting. Thanks for the clarity in your article… Whilst I was quite annoyed when Shankland started the kicking I still want him as part of Scotland squad. As for Mcinnes he has a lot to answer for… Between him Boyd and twisted Mccoist an unhealthy atmosphere was created prior to the final game…all 3 need to be held accountable. The implied corruption is not acceptable… Mcinnes clapping the Celtic penalty when that is the first penalty given against Hearts this season…it would be far easier for us to make the accusations
And you, Mr Dixon are a sore winner. Where is the empathy, consolation, decency dignity? Like the so- called fans who ran onto the pitch, you cannot just enjoy and celebrate your team’s fantastic performance without having to shove it up the noses and right in the faces off the losing side who already have enough to take.
They have all taken away from what should have been a wonderful day.
A hypothesis: If Hearts had managed to scrape through that game and win it, what would Mon’S comments have been? We know – 100% that he’d have been magnanimous, congratulatory to Hearts, but also of our own players.
Also, undoubtedly (and as with games around teh world in every league since football started) a portion of the Hearts fans would have entered the pitch in celebration. Would the Celtic fans have ran the length of the pitch to attack them? (N o -as evidenced when eg Hibs and Dons fans entered the pitch when beating us in recent years)
And would the mainstream media have stated that the Hearts fans in that scenario were troublesome – or just ‘high jinks’ (a la Scotland fans at Wembley invading on mass, breaking the posts etc).
We all know the answers to these. We all know the dispairty.
The anti-CFC bias is evident through most of ‘Scottish’ society and mainstream media – and the jealousy is deafening.
