Callum Osmand has praised the influence of Celtic coaches Shaun Maloney and Mark Fotheringham after the Hoops’ latest title triumph.
The young forward made a major impact from the bench during Saturday’s 3-1 win over Hearts, scoring and assisting another as Celtic sealed a fifth consecutive league title.
Osmand said his rapid progress this season — despite a long-term injury along the way — has been heavily shaped by the work of Maloney and Fotheringham, who is affectionately known within the squad as “Fozzy”.
Both men have played prominent roles on interim manager Martin O’Neill’s coaching staff throughout the campaign, with Osmand stressing how important they have become to the players.

“They’re massive for the club and for us players,” Osmand said via The Herald.
“I think they’re the ones that we’ll go and talk to almost as much as Martin, like that will go and help us with everything.
“Shaun is fantastic and I don’t think people really see how much he’s done for the club. He’s been one of the main guys to help us and get us to win the title. And Fozzy as well, it’s just been amazing.”
“His [Fozzy’s] player to player chats that he has are just fantastic,” he said. “As soon as he came in, he had a meeting with me and said he believes in me. And that was just amazing.”
“It was just me and him and he sort of just told me everything that I’d been missing from before. And it really helped me.
“The first day he came in, I’d never met him, and I had a one-to-one with him, and he was just fantastic. It really inspired me to go and give what I could.”
