Brendan Rodgers says he has received no indication from Celtic over whether he will be awarded a Scottish Premiership winner’s medal following the Hoops’ dramatic title success…

The former Celtic manager, now in charge of Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadsiah, left the Scottish champions in controversial circumstances in October after relations with the board deteriorated again during his second spell in charge.
Rodgers oversaw nine league matches this season, recording five victories, two draws and two defeats before departing after a 3-1 loss away to Hearts.
Celtic eventually recovered to secure the title on the final day following managerial spells that followed Rodgers under Martin O’Neill, Wilfried Nancy and then O’Neill again.

League regulations state the champions are presented with 25 medals to distribute among players, staff and officials, while additional medals can be requested subject to approval from the SPFL board.
Speaking ahead of Al-Qadsiah’s final Saudi Pro League fixture against Al-Hittihad, Rodgers admitted he had not been contacted by his former club regarding the matter.
“No, Celtic have not contacted me at all about a medal,” he said via Glasgow Times.
“My focus is on trying to win the last game of the season. Our mentality will be the same as in the first game I managed.
“I want to thank the players for their efforts this season. Even if there isn’t much motivation for the team, we will show the same urgency as usual because if we don’t play with a winning mentality, the players will lose their focus.”

This is currently MoN moment at present, but Rodgers will get his medal eventually, as he is still entitled to one, regardless of the situation between himself and the board imo?
Not unusual for ourselves to request extra medals, especially as 25 hardly covers the amount required within an entire SPFL campaign.
Don’t see our club being so petty upon such a matter, especially when even jonny Kenny among others could be entitled to a medal also, which the club will possibly pay for imo?
Get lost you piece if crap! You tried to destroy us!
