No real surprise Nygren was given the player of the year award, with his goals contributions?
Personally, I still wouldn’t class Nygren as a great all round footballer, especially with the amount of improvements required within his all round game. But certainly done well enough within his first season with ourselves all the same.
But the real issue remains, as where so many of our players fell short, within there own capabilities, that Nygren was able to take such an advantage of such a situation that arose this season. Hence the amount of improvements we are looking and hoping for over the summer period imo?

Was a bit surprised that Yang even fell into the young player category still, with being involved in our squad for 3 seasons now?
Admittedly he has been his most productive this season in fairness to him,and certainly deserves his award for best goal scored, even if it meant nothing in the end?
Again highlights how poor our development programme remains. 3 seasons it is taking for a young player to get recognised, when fairly unchallenged for the award imo?
So this policy of buying young players and turning them into a profit for our business model. May bring in extra profit that covers the amount of losses, for the business model, where the suits benefit hugely.
Yet it doesn’t cover the overall team, and our squad building process that our team requires upon the pitch. Especially when the development programme remains idle as it currently is imo?
