The SFA have confirmed that Nick Walsh has been handed the whistle for Sunday’s Glasgow Derby. Celtic travel to Ibrox to face Rangers in their first game since sealing the Premiership title and they will look to settle a few scores after two defeats in their last games against the Ibrox side.
The 34-year-old will be assisted by Frank Connor and Dougie Potter.
At Clydesdale House, Andrew Dallas is on VAR duties with Andrew McWilliam assisting.
Walsh has refereed four Celtic games and his record makes for favourably viewing given that Celtic have won their last three games encounters Rangers. The last meeting that Walsh officiated was the 2-1 win over Rangers in December 2023 as goals from Paulo Bernardo and Kyogo beat Philippe Clement’s side.
