Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has said that Brendan Rodgers’ side can be ‘immensely proud’ after their UCL campaign. The Scottish Champions drew at the Allianz Arena but Alfonso Davies’ late strike was enough to send them through on aggregate.
Speaking to BBC Match of the Day’s UCL Highlights show, the decorated striker spoke about the performance of Celtic and crediting them for their approach.

Celtic will return to league duty on Saturday with the trip to Edinburgh to face Hibs. However, Brendan Rodgers’ side will still be hurting after that result, which will hopefully be used as fuel to ensure qualification next season as well as further progression.
