Celtic have confirmed a huge boost ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League Playoff first leg against Bayern Munich. The Scottish Champions revealed on Monday evening that Daizen Maeda would be available for the game after successfully appealing his suspension.
Maeda was sent off in the dying stages of the 1-0 win over Young Boys with a two match suspension issued against the Japanese attacker. Very quietly, Celtic went about their business in appealing the decision making the announcement and extra morale boost for supporters.

Maeda is expected to line up against the Bundesliga leaders when they visit Celtic Park this week. Daizen has been a man in form recently and this news will hopefully give the players and support an extra lift ahead of the challenge of beating Vincent Kompany’s side.
